Keeping your email account secure is important, which is why we’re adding an extra layer of protection with multi-factor authentication (MFA).

You may notice some changes when you sign in or be asked to set up MFA before you continue. These changes are part of an update to our sign-in process to help improve the security of your account.

What is multi-factor authentication?

Multi-factor authentication, often shortened to MFA, adds an extra security check when you sign in.

Instead of relying only on your password, you will be asked to confirm it’s really you by entering a code from an authenticator app.

This extra step makes it harder for someone else to access your account, even if they know or obtain your password.

Why are we making this change?

Email accounts can contain a lot of important personal information and are often connected to other online accounts and services.

Adding MFA helps us provide stronger protection for your Junara account. It can also help reduce the risk of someone gaining access to your email and using it to find personal information, reset passwords, or impersonate you.

Scammers and other online threats continue to change, so we regularly review the security measures we use to help keep your account and information safe.

Why does the sign-in page look different?

As part of these security improvements, we’ve updated the way you sign in to Junara.

If you followed a link from a Junara page to this article because the sign-in screen looked unfamiliar, you can be reassured that the change is expected.

You can always access your account using the sign-in link on the official Junara website rather than following a link in an unexpected email.

What do I need to do?

Follow the instructions shown on screen. If you’re asked to set up MFA, we’ll guide you through the process.

Once you’ve set it up, you’ll use your authentication method when Junara asks you to complete an additional security check.
