New Outlook

This article will provide the steps to locate and update the mail settings using the New Outlook.

 

  1. Open New Outlook

    1 Open Outlook.png
     
  2. Select File, then Settings

    2 Select File click Settings.png
     
  3. Select Accounts and choose your email account, then select Manage

    3 Click Accounts select your email account then click Manage.png
     
  4. Scroll down, then select Repair

    4 Scroll down select Repair.png
     

  5. Enter your email account password in the Password field

    • Please note that once the email address has been set up in New Outlook, the IMAP incoming server, Port, and Secure connection type are grayed out


    5 Enter the pw.png
     

  6. Scroll down and under the SMTP Configuration, enter the SMTP password, SMTP outgoing server, Port, and Secure connection type

    • Please note that the SMTP username is grayed out once the email has been set up in New Outlook


    6 Enter SMTP select Continue to save.png
     

  7. After entering the details in the SMTP Configuration, select Continue

  8. Close Settings, exit New Outlook, and then re-open New Outlook
