This support page provides information on how to close the email account and/or transfer ownership of an account holder who has passed away.
How to close an email account and/or transfer ownership
- Please email support@junara.com
- Ensure all the documentation stated below is included
- Failing to provide the required documents as outlined may result in delays processing or accepting your request
- Requests to transfer account ownership will be considered at our discretion
Please submit copies of the following documents:
- Grant of Probate, Death certificate or Coroner's notice, and
- Statutory declaration from an authorised person
The declaration should include:
- The current account holder's full name, email address, date of birth, and phone number registered with the account.
- The requesting party's full name, address, date of birth and mobile phone number.
- The relationship of the requesting party with the deceased, ensuring the Statutory Declaration is made by an authorised representative of the deceased.
- A statement declaring you have the legal authority as heir/executor/administrator of the estate to access, control or dispose of the email account.
- The requested action (i.e. account closure or account transfer).
Preparing a statutory declaration
- A statutory declaration must be witnessed by an appropriately qualified person as described on the declaration.
