How is storage calculated?
- Storage is based on the total data (e.g. emails, contacts, calendar events, and files) that you hold with us at any given time.
- Storage is not calculated on a rolling week/month/year, or on how much data you send/receive.
- Emails in your Trash and Spam folders are counted, so if you are reducing the amount of data we are storing for you, you may wish to delete the contents of your Trash and Spam folders.
How much storage do I need?
The amount of storage that you need depends on various factors. For example, with regard to email storage:
- Do your emails contain a lot of large attachments, or are they mainly short text exchanges?
- Do you regularly delete emails or keep everything "just in case"?
As a guide:
- 30 GB typically stores 200,000 average-sized emails; and

How can I increase my storage?
- The plan currently offers 30GB. You cannot add additional storage at this time.
How can I reduce how much storage I use?

You can reduce your storage by deleting unwanted emails and/or files. (Remember to also delete emails from your Trash and Spam folders if you no longer wish to keep those emails.)
