This article provides instructions on how to setup or change fetch settings in your email client. Fetch determines how often and the method that your email client uses to check for emails.
Instructions may vary depending on the device and version of the email client you are using.
From your home screen, open the Settings app
Scroll down and select Apps
Select Mail
Select Mail Accounts
Select Fetch New Data
If Push is not turned on, toggle on
Select your email account, then select Fetch
Select Back and select Automatically towards the bottom of the page
- Exit Settings app and it is done
Tip!
If you don't want your device to check for emails frequently you can change the FETCH setting to: Manually, Hourly, Every 30 Minutes or Every 15 Minutes
