This article will walk you through how to set up authenticator app in My Account
Prerequisites
- Smartphone or tablet
- Have an authenticator app installed
- If you do not have one yet, refer to this article: How to install an authenticator app
- Your email address
- Email account password
- Sign in to My Account

Enter your Email address, then select Continue

Enter your Email password, then select Submit

Select Security, look for Authenticator app, then select Set up
- We recommend scanning the QR code using Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator app
Scan a QR code – Microsoft Authenticator
- Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your device
- Select the QR code scanner icon in the bottom-right corner
- Use your device to scan the QR code shown on the Junara set up page
- Once your account has been added to Microsoft Authenticator, open the account
to view the 6-digit one-time password code - Return to the Junara set up page and enter the 6-digit code shown in Microsoft Authenticator
- Select Confirm and turn on
- Enter your email password, then select Verify
Scan a QR code – Google Authenticator
- Open the Google Authenticator App.
- Select Add a code or + icon at the bottom-right corner
- Select Scan a QR code
- Use your device to scan the QR code shown on the Junara set up page
- Once the account has been added to Google Authenticator, it will display a 6-digit code
- Return to the Junara set up page and enter the 6-digit code shown in Google Authenticator
- Select Confirm and turn on
- Enter your email password, then select Verify
Manually set up authenticator app – Microsoft Authenticator
Before you begin
On the Junara set up page, look for OR ENTER THIS KEY MANUALLY, then copy or write down the key
Make sure to copy the KEY exactly as displayed and keep the key secure, do not share it with anyone
Microsoft Authenticator
- Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your device
- Select the QR code scanner icon in the bottom-right corner
- Select Enter code manually
- Select Other (Google, Facebook, etc.).
- In Account name, enter your full email address.
- In Secret key, enter the key shown on the Junara set up page
or the key you made a note of earlier - Select Finish
- Once your account has been added to Microsoft Authenticator, open the account
to view the 6-digit one-time password code - Return to the Junara set up page and enter the 6-digit code shown in Microsoft Authenticator
- Select Confirm and turn on
- Enter your email password, then select Verify
Manually set up authenticator app – Google Authenticator
Before you begin

Google Authenticator
- Open the Google Authenticator App.
- Select Add a code or + icon at the bottom-right corner
- Select Enter a setup key
- In Code name or Account name, enter your full email address

In Your key, enter the key shown on the Junara set up page or
the key you made a note of earlier - Under Type of key, select Time based
- Select Add
- The Authenticator code saved message will appear to confirm that your account has been added
- A 6-digit code will then be displayed for your account
- Return to the Junara setup page and enter the 6-digit code shown in Google Authenticator
- Select Confirm and turn on
- Enter your Email password, then select Verify
- Save the 10 recovery codes in a safe place
Select I've saved these codes somewhere safe, then select Done
- The Authenticator app will now show as Active on your account
Note
Every time you sign in to Webmail or My Account, open your authenticator app and
enter the 6-digit code shown for your email account
