Note as your device or email client may be using a different version than that used in this article, the steps or words may be slightly different than presented below.
 

1. Open Thunderbird
   
   
    
2. Select Settings (Gear icon bottom left)
   
   
    
3. Select Account Settings
   
   
    
4. Select Server Settings
   
   
    
5. The Incoming mail server information is displayed. If you have a different mail server settings as shown below, please change your settings to match the Server Name, Port and User Name settings below
   
   
    
6. Select Outgoing Server (SMTP), click your email address then Edit
   
   
    
7. The Outgoing mail server information is displayed. If you have a different mail server settings as shown below, please change your settings to match the Server Name, Port and User Name settings below
   
   

 8. Click OK if you make changes on the SMTP Server.
